Farsi is featured profusely throughout “The Kite Runner” and is definitely a major stylistic feature of Khaled Hosseini. The excerpts of Farsi add a pinch of culture to the text. It reminds the reader of Amirs Afghan roots and often gives the reader a deeper understanding of the passage.
